I've been researching good walking shoes lately. As a student, I walk all day long from class to class. Campuses are convenient, everything is steps away.

I love walking on our campus. It is beautiful. Each building has its own architectural style. Each department and group of students give their building unique personality. By finishing each building with complementary blonde stone, we express unity across disciplines.

To me, there is something that takes campus beauty to another level. Unlike many universities, we completed our walkways with brick pavers. I admire them every day.

A few of years ago, my father laid a paver path for Grandpa Dale. I was surprised, watching him work, how easy these elegant sidewalks are.

A layer of gravel.

A layer of sand.

A layer of brick.

A bit of elbow grease.

That's it.

If you happen to be looking into a paver product, stop by our location at 15th and Illinois to view our selection. We are open from 7 am to 5 pm, Monday through Friday, or give us a call at 417-623-5800.
